For this blog, I chose to do the twister to make a fake tweet from Marilyn Monroe. If she were still alive, I could see her tweeting something like this. “Don’t believe media, you are all beautiful.” Her quotes throughout history talk about women and making them feel better about themselves. I believe her quotes are positive and uplifting, with an attempt to make every woman love their shape, personality and themselves over all. Media today is harsh in my eyes. We are filled with unrealistic standards which has even been scientifically proven. Technology has advanced so much to the extent of photoshop, and other editing programs. The fact that a lot of women models are edited to look perfect affects us negatively in my opinion. This is why Marilyn Monroe is great, I think she did a great job in inspiring women and making them feel good about themselves.
